David Dginguerian, an Armenian filmmaker, wants to launch a membership-only website called MyPregnancy.com.
So he’s decided to offer fellow Armenian, Kim Kardashian, 32, the poster girl positon for his website.

Kim Kardashian, famous for being around the famous, was sent a pitch letter that was secured by Radar Online, Dginguerian suggests such a site could ‘generate $100,000 a month,’ with the money going to the ‘Christian Charity’ of Kim’s choice.
And as a sweetener, Kim – who is pregnant by boyfriend Kanye West, 35, is being offered $250,000 as a ‘signing bonus.’

Everyone has already speculated how soon it would be before the infamous Kimye fetus would become it’s own celebrity, and it seems that this baby has Suri Cruise status pre-birth.

George Lucas Gets Engaged

There seems to be a disturbance in the Force, as ‘Star Wars’ creator George Lucas is set to marry his long time girlfriend! Congrats!

In a galaxy very very close to George Lucas, he just got engaged to his longtime girlfriend and businesswoman, Mellody Hobson, and NO, it’s not his sister!
Now that George has quite a lot of time on his hands after selling off his Star Wars franchise to Disney, he has taken his free time and made good use of it, as he is now engaged to his seven-year-strong girlfriend Mellody, E! News confirms.
This is the first marriage for Mellody but the second for the 68-year old creator of arguably the biggest movie franchise of all time. We have yet to confirm if Chewbacca will be the best man.
Speaking of the franchise, we all know that the next film in the series is slotted for 2015, and George is excited for what will happen. He spoke about his thoughts when he sold the franchise, saying, “For the past 35 years, one of my greatest pleasures has been to see Star Wars passed from one generation to the next. It’s now time for me to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of filmmakers. I’ve always believed that Star Wars could live beyond me, and I thought it was important to set up the transition during my lifetime. I’m confident that with Lucasfilm under the leadership of Kathleen Kennedy, and having a new home within the Disney organization, Star Wars will certainly live on and flourish for many generations to come. Disney’s reach and experience give Lucasfilm the opportunity to blaze new trails in film, television, interactive media, theme parks, live entertainment, and consumer products.”

“A friend in need is a friend indeed”

Recently a close friend directed me to (what is said to be) the hottest gossip of Singapore’s social media realm , and I’m just going to sum it up briefly because that’s not the main point of today’s post:

A Singaporean blogger (let’s just call her Z, instead of naming her since she’s not the main point and lest getting the wrong attention), allegedly became the 3rd party of a soon-to-be married couple, where the groom-to-be called off the marriage in the midst of the preparation.
The distraught ex then took to Facebook to share her story. It blew out of proportion and the media published the story in the newspapers.
There were evidence pointing towards Z wrecking multiple relationships including this, and both the heartbreaker and her has yet to come up with their side of the story.

With the two disappearing in their act, some netizens have turned to Z’s close friends from the traces from her blog.

Just as a saying goes, “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. Through tough times, I’d say things always end up in these three cases:

1. Friend sticks by you (out of loyalty, or blindly)
2. Friend leaves you (for a while/ for good)
3. Friend maintains a neutral stand (while sticking to you/ floating around)

A friend of hers has jumped in, writing a blog post about Z’s virtues, while another expressed keeping Z as she had been a good buddy.
What do you think of this? Is a friend in need a friend indeed? How about in such severe cases? (We don’t know which case they fall into, after all, the value of their friendship can’t be estimated by outsiders)

I’ve been through all three situations, and and truth to be told, I thought people in the 1st case had no good sense of judgement – concluding things out of loyalty or based on one side of the story.
Because of that I definitely wouldn’t count as “the perfect friend”, since I would maintain a neutral stand till I get the big picture, or seeing solid evidences against either party.
Don’t just sit on the fence either, thinking of being seen as a good guy and not offending anyone. I mean you can stick by your friend while not being too unfriendly to another person, right? Just don’t be overly chummy.
Then again, it’s also exasperating knowing that you’re not in the wrong, yet not gaining your friend’s utmost trust and support.

 The most horrible of all would probably be leaving a friend for an issue you are not involved in, though the ones at fault should be prepared for such situations.

Well people usually don’t talk about or admit to their mistakes, so nobody would probably get the entire truth other than the parties involved.
I guess a friend in need should be one who is there for you, yet being able to differentiate the right from the wrong and leads you to the correct path (sounds to preachy haha ) after all that happened.

Take in mind the severity of the issue and the value of the friendship too.
